of bad luck and troubles
I hate having women woes. Which is particularly the reason why I'm even considering becoming a guy!
Nah.
I like being a girl actually. No army. No hormonal woes. Equipped with built in weapons (tears).
But OMG this time it has successfully rendered my useless and crippled cause every time a single muscle of my even twitches the repercussion comes back multiplied a hundred. Which renders me... sad and useless.
I stopped posting for almost 2 weeks plus cause I really couldn't find any inspiration to write. Other than doing pt and getting my own blingbling golden shoes there isn't much interesting things in my life. Which is sad, but ultimately true.
Oh I read this really cool book on brains and morals the other day. And they had this little quiz so I did it HAHA.
Given bottom scenarios:
1. Julie is travelling with her brother Mark. One night they made love (with birth controls), and decides to never do it again.
2. A woman finds her flag that she doesn't want in her closet so she cuts it up to use it as rags.
3. A man goes to the supermarket once a week and buys a dead chicken. Before cooking the chicken, he has sexual intercourse with it. Then he cooks it properly and eats it.
Then you're told to tell if they are morally right and why.'
Apparently normal people would say all 3 are morally wrong. But here's seriously what I wrote/thought:
1. Technically, by religion, it is wrong, and I'm not supportive of incest. But I don't care really. They can do whatever they want, cause it's got nothing to do with me. So should be okay bah. No babies anyway.
2. Eh my government would have jailed or fine you and tell you that that act is an insult to the country. But seriously. Not like you're making a demonstration like burning the flag or something. I won't even think of doing it, and I think it is wrong, but not in the moral sense.
3. O.O Oh my. Erm. Unusual act. But most definitely not morally wrong. He can do anything he wants right! Anyway if this is wrong then flavored contraceptives should also be banned cause it goes along the same lines of play then eat.
So, results of the test was that most likely my Ventromedial Prefrontal Cortex (located in my brain) is damaged. Cause this is the part of our brain that affects our responses. As quoted:
"The ventromedial prefrontal cortex is the part of the brain that overrides mere reason with pro-social emotions like compassion and guilt. If the ventromedial prefrontal cortex is damaged, people are more likely to accept behaviour that threatens social norms but doesn't cause real harm. This people have an easier time making coldly calculating decisions that do cause harm, but maximize the welfare of a group of people. (One of the choices that brain damaged people are more likely to endorse is halting a runaway train that's headed towards a group of people by throwing a fat man in its path)"
LOLs. I don't think my part of the brain is that damaged yet. As if throwing a fat man will block the train -____- But the quiz is reasonably true cause to a certain extent I'm pretty much a utilitarian.
