the end also marks the start
PROMOS ARE OVER~
While that deserves plenty of applause and confetti throwing, seems like the school has another stand on it, by happily passing out new biology tutorials and demanded for a bio Olympiad briefing, and some poor classes have PW briefing.
Somehow the idea of end of promos didn't strike me as hard as when I was in Nanyang. Where end of EOYs was truly the end and there would be crazy shrieks and jumping around.
I dunno. Suppose that the extremely terrible ego killing chem/math/bio papers was enough to be a kill joy.
Hmmm. While I won't say I've never gotten low scores, but this is truly the first year with me scoring consistent low scores :/ At least back then if I was doing badly I could just decide to work hard and my marks shoot upwards and brings everything back into equilibrium.
Doesn't work here. Marks are no longer in a direct relationship with results.
...
I think I studied harder in JC1 than my 4 years in Nanyang combined. But my results tells otherwise though. Hmmmmmmm
Ah. Whatever. It's over, and even though there's like this sinking feeling that it's not going to be great I suppose I still can enjoy the next few days of freedom until PW and BioO and OCIP steps in and cause havoc all over again.
K-box for the first time today :) Quite a fun experience, with us singing random songs and duetting and screaming 'baby' HAHA and doing a failed imitation of Bad Romance.
