G.E is over :D Stayed up ultra late yesterday to hear the results, and it wasn't that bad, there were plenty of marginal wins for PAP. Hope they manage to realise that PAP isn't that strong, and will do more till the next elections.

Hmm. But throughout this whole G.E thing, I guess you get to see the real faces of people. Like hypocrites who claim that they support the Opp but vote PAP, like how some people just don't care. Anyway the idea of voting in a group is fail. Or at least I think so. You get lousy people squeezing themselves in, and other competent members to fall out.

And I realised how I can draw a parallel of the elections to my own life. Like how the government says that we are given the choice to vote and stuff, but in the end it's still PAP dominance all the way. It's exactly like how I am given a choice, and yet not given a choice at the same time. Good if my choice tallies with yours, but if it doesn't, you'll come up with some crap to dissuade my choice, and if it still doesn't work, you just order me to do what you want me to do.

Then don't pretend to give me a choice.

I've always and always been living my life the way you want it, make the choices that you would like, follow what you want me to follow. But right now, I'm sick and tired of all these. Maybe, if it was me from five years ago, I would have followed your orders without complains. But I'm not. I live for myself. Only myself, not you, not anyone else.

So please stop trying to live your life through mine. Stop pushing what you couldn't do onto me, stop trying to force me into you ideologies.

It's not worth it. Truly. I'm tired of all these.

Sometimes I just want to close my eyes and escape from reality.
