Weather today: Sun + Sun + Sun
Mood: Reasonably normal
WARNING: Long Post ahead.
I just realised that the way I write is significantly related to my mood, and for the sake of everyone I've decided to notify them of my mood first. So if you don't like emotional posts, and my mood is set to the EMO mood, then no point reading any more.
Enough of all that. Back to the topic, but I'm assuring everyone that NO, this blog isn't dead just because I have yet to upload any posts for a week. So to make it up this is going to be a long long post.
Bad news first. I regret to say that I have actually fallen ill for the first time since I came to Nanyang. When I mean ill, I mean seriously ill.
Saturday: Not feeling hungry despite not eating at all for the whole day.
Sunday: Vomiting after eating anything or drinking anything.
Monday: Vomiting at the sight of food.
Went to see the doctor on Monday night, because I had not eaten anything since Saturday and everything that went in came back out from my mouth. Liquids included. My fahter thought I was getting anorexic (really funny) and I had to spent like days trying to convince him that I'm not anorexic or even anywhere near that. The doctor told me that I had what they call a virus infection in my bowel aka stomach which is causing me to reject anything that goes into my stomach. Virus can't be killed by antibiotics, and the doctor was like 'go home, eat this pill, go to sleep'. And now I'm stuck with this extremely healthy diet. Breakfast = Some power drink, Lunch = Bread, Dinner = Bee Hoon in soup. I'm insist that I'm never ever going to stick to any diets after I get better!
The only good news is that my weight right now is on what I call a downward slide. Due to all the vomiting and apparent lack of hunger for the whole day, my resolution of losing those excess kg of fats finally came true. I've lost about 3 to 4 kg in just 3 days! Gosh, this sounds so much like the lines of all those 'lose your fats in just XXX days' programme. Maybe I should set up this programme called 'Lose your fats with the help of virus!' And the instuctions will be as follows:
All you need to do is to swallow this pill full of the bowel virus, and I guarantee you instant weight loss. When you've reached your dream weight, please eat the second pill, medicine to get rid of those oh-so-helpful virus and 'Viola!', you're healthy and in shape.
I think that might just work. You have no idea how extreme females can be to get in shape. And then I can work with the doctors. They earn money, so do I. (If you don't get my tone, too bad)
Moving on to the topic of GRACES camp, I seriously believe that the nearer it is to the camp, the crazier people get. I'm probably one of the sane few in my class and CCA right now.
Grace suggested wearing rainbow colours for Graces, since there were 7 of us in the jiti, and I have no idea how she came up with the idea. Goodness, imagine how we'll look if the 7 of us stood together. Eye catching all right. And Venus is going to wear a green dress, with green stuff on her and hey, maybe she should dye her hair green. That way she'll look like a pea pod :D
And my classmates came up with even more amazing ideas. Insisting that they are not going to wear a dress, they settled on wearing weird stuff. The idea began to go through loads of changes.
Wearing nothing -> Wear 3 leaves covering -> Use duct tape -> Wear coconuts -> Wear bowls -> Wearing toilet paper for mummy effect.
Interesting ideas, though I don't get why they are willing to wear all these instead of a dress. And then some genius (ahem ahem) came up with the weird idea of perming her hair, or rather fringe, and is currently still trying to pull anyone with short hair to perm with her. Maybe I should write to the PSS to suggest that they take off the GRACES camp thing because it breeds insanity among students, causing alot of them to become more and more insane with their ideas and hinders the development of our brain.
And I'll state first that I'm not exactly looking forward to GRACES, but I am looking forward to seeing people in their dresses, especially some like our dear dear captain, and taking alot of photos which are essentially good for blackmail. Yes, that is what I'm looking forward to.
And that concludes my long long post. Congratuations for finishing reading this without falling asleep halfway. Goodbye.
